I've just completed setting up the blog for Mary Hogan Fiber Arts. I started MHFA about a year ago so that I would have an outlet for my creative energy. Yesterday I worked on developing more creative wallets; making special quilted pieces with piecing, couching of threads, decorative stitching - anything I can think of to make a unique and beautiful piece.
Today I went back to making a zippered bag, again using unique quilted pieces. I feel like thus is an important step forward. Not just inventing and improving the bags patterns, but also making each one really special.
I also worked on the patterns themselves and made a bunch of freezer paper templates for dolls and bags.
I need to get some pictures in here.
More later...
